I came up with the crackpot idea of launching this site to accompany this current journey, but did not know where to begin. So I made good use of Lonely Planet thorn tree forum, where folks were very happy to offer help and advice. Here they suggested a zillion ways to publish on the net from basic blogg sites up to full-on web design. I moved along quite quickly, within a few weeks the basic structure was in and I was even grappling with basic html code.
I have come to use the internet for much more of my travel research now. So, I have thrown this page together as my offering to fellow travellers, in the hope that someone in the early stages of their planning may find something of use to them. It is not travel advice; there are acres of that out there already! It is mainly just links and my personal tit-bits I have found useful when planning this site. |
