| One man, one foolish idea and a camera... |
| author chased various dreams that continually lead him in the wrong direction. The journey is now over, but the website lives on. Whether you are an armchair traveller or planning your own adventure, there is something in here for you. All content going back to day one can be found in the archives. | The journey may be over, but the WanderYears will be staying online for now. I am in New Zealand busily sorting my life out - and in the process of putting this site 'to bed', I have updated it with collections of my own movies and images. | Follow the highs and lows on a journey across the globe from London to New Zealand. The Wander Years was the story of a normal guy on his attempt at covering this distance without flying. But that is not all - Timo, a guy who always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, was in the final stages of completing his immigration into NZ. Leaving behind a lifelong career in the British countryside, he hoped that one final journey would help him settle down.
