| Island hop across Indonesia to reach Timor to pick up sailing route for private boats headed for Darwin, Australia. Or possibly continue on NE to Papua New Guinea. |
| Cross Australia from Darwin (most likely landing point) by whatever means. The Victoria and New South Wales coast (particularly Sydney & Melbourne) offer my best hopes for boarding a ship or private boat to cross the mighty Tasman Sea to New Zealand. |
